Refunds and Returns

tl;dr

We generally do not accept returns except under specific circumstances. Outside of these circumstances, accepting returns is left to our discretion. Make your purchase assuming that the sale is final.

Return Policy

 

In-Store Purchases

For in-store purchases, we do not offer returns on card singles, TCG accessories, board games, or other items that you can fully inspect before purchasing.  In general, all sales are final for in-store purchases. Any returns for in-store purchases are allowed at our discretion. See exceptions below.

 

Online Purchases

Unfortunately, if you are buying physical products online, then you do not have the luxury of inspecting the items yourself. We only hire humans at A&H Games, so it is possible that items will be received in less than desirable condition. If this is the case, please contact us via the email provided at the top of this page, and we will do everything we can to make it right. Depending on the item(s), you may be responsible for shipping fees. If you are returning your item because of a mistake on your part, you may be charged a 15% restocking fee. See exceptions below

 

Refunds

 

In-Store Purchases

If we decide that a return for an in-store purchase is appropriate, we will refund the full value of the item. You must provide your receipt (physical or digital) and your order number to receive a refund. If you are in our system, this process is made much easier, so we encourage everyone to sign up. We do not give cash/credit refunds for items purchased with in-store credit.

 

Online Purchases

Once we have received your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you by email if we accept the return.

If the return is accepted, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your site account, credit card, or original method of payment. We do not give cash/credit refunds for items purchased with in-store credit.

Please allow 5 business days after we have received your item(s) for this process to complete.

 

Note: We ONLY ship directly to consumers. We DO NOT ship to mail forwarding services.

 

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item, send us an email at stetson@alvarandhurriks.com

 

Exceptions: 

Video games - if you purchase a game, and it does not work, then bring it back for a refund (mail it back if you purchased online). Note: this exception does not apply to video game consoles; we test before selling these. If a system does not work, then a return/refund is left at our discretion. If you bought the game online, you may still be responsible for shipping costs.

Specific Sealed Products - If you purchase an item which looked good on the outside, but inner materials are damaged, we will work with you. We have experienced cases of customers purchasing boxed paint sets to discover later that some of the paints inside have dried out. This is not something a customer can reasonably expect, and we will offer a full refund or exchange for such items. We will not offer refunds or returns for sealed TCG products (booster boxes, pre-constructed decks, etc.)
